Sechelt Pedestrian Pier

Working with the Sechelt Downtown Business Association, Seabulk designed a pedestrian pier for the community of Sechelt. The pier was a contribution to the community as part of the Sechelt Deep Sea Berth and Ship Loader Project. Financial participants in the project included Construction Aggregates Limited, Canada Steamship Lines and Seabulk Systems. The pier is constructed of precast concrete decking supported on steel pipe piles. The trestle extends offshore about 50 metres to a pier head platform about 200 square metres in area. The handrails were designed, supplied and installed by Construction Aggregates Limited.

The trestle and pier head platform has a concrete deck and is appointed with durable painted steel railings.
